Fedora 7 First Impression

Well, I've installed Fedora 7 on my HP NX6320 laptop and it all seems pretty good except for one niggling thing. Wireless. It seems the Fedora team moved away from the ipw3945 code for their own iwlwifi code, which, among other things, on the x86_64, crashes NetworkManager, and won't support WPA-TKIP (or, ...

Two important things were started at midnight lastnight. Fedora 7 (Codenamed moonshine) - was launched to rapt wonderment. They've move away from the "core" designation, it's just "Fedora" now. But even more fundamentally important; Linux.conf.au 2008 Call For Papers was opened here So, pick one or the other, find something cool and get started ...
